Lesson 27: Free Silver or a Cross of Gold?

The students view a series of visuals to learn about the money controversy of the last decades of the nineteenth century. They conduct a simulation activity designed to show why proponents of the Greenback and Free Silver movements believed that an increase in the money supply would raise prices.
